Purchasing Transactional + Reporting Expert

The role:


The Purchasing Transactional & Reporting Expert will provide expert advice on relevant SAP modules to both internal and external stakeholders, provide possible solutions. Support the Purchasing Transactional & Reporting Manager to allocate resources effectively across the teams ensuring that changes in workload are addressed immediately to meet targets. Expert is responsible for embedding continuous improvement mindset across the team, leading Specialists in completing projects to improve processes within the remit of department / team.

Main areas of responsibility:
  • Execute the purchasing process for a selection of Market / Factories in scope of the  Warsaw GBS
  • Act as single point of contact to end-users on the full purchasing process (including proper utilization of tools, trainings, documentation, etc)
  • Responsible to ensure full compliance to P2P procedures as well as JTI Operating Guidelines
  • Keep a control over the P2P processes and associated financial impact for specific Markets / Factories in scope 
  • Deliver consistent results and provide accurate analysis to drive efficiencies
  • Provide expert advice to other team members on SAP and other systems used by the team: be the main point of contact for technical matters
  • Have end-to-end understanding of all JSOX and compliance controls, how and when they are to be performed
  • Support Purchasing Transactional & Reporting Manager with regular review of the documentation to ensure its correctess 
You as a professional:
  • University degree or equivalent (Business or Finance)
  • 1 year experience of working in Purchasing/Procurement department. 
  • 3+ years experience in shared services environment
  • Experience with process engineering
  • Strong command of English  (oral and written). Knowledge of languages of the markets in scope preferred
  • Understanding of P2P processes, procedures and operating guidelines
  • Strong analitycal skills
